About Amanda Huepfel, MD
Amanda Huepfel, MD, is a board-certified Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southdale ObGyn. The practice has two locations with offices in Edina and Burnsville, Minnesota.
After taking a high school physiology class where she was fascinated by the intricacies of the human body, Dr. Huepfel knew that she wanted to become a physician.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California at Davis (UC Davis), the University of California Education Abroad Program at Georg-August University, Goettingen, Germany, and a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
She completed her OB/GYN Residency as an Administrative Chief Resident at the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Dr. Huepfel and her husband, Will, have three children and a terrier named Teddy. She loves walking and biking around the Minneapolis lakes and visiting family, including her brother and parents in California and her identical twin sister in Tennessee.
