She pursued a research year and then went on to receive her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Hospital / Harvard Medical School, Boston Massachusetts.
She was raised in Roseville, Minnesota and has spent most of her life in MN. She met her husband, who is also a physician, in residency, and is a proud mother of two wonderful daughters. She has a passion for tennis and running and likes to live an active and healthy lifestyle. She loves the outdoors. She likes to make and enjoy good food. She also enjoys travel and her lifelong friendships.
