About Jennifer A. Flynn, DO

Dr. Jennifer Flynn is a personable physician who wants to ensure your questions are answered and will walk you through your care each step of the way. She considers herself an educator and feels professional satisfaction when patients are empowered with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health, wellness, and care.
Dr. Flynn was born and raised in Minnesota. She was drawn to medicine at an early age and ultimately chose the field for its unique intersection of science and community. She especially enjoys the hands-on work of surgery and supporting patients and families as they navigate the sometimes challenging process of healthcare. Her educational journey has allowed her the opportunity stand by patients during pivotal moments in their lives and she considers this a privilege.
She offers full scope of care including: general and high-risk obstetrics, infertility, contraception, and endometriosis. She has advanced experience with the treatment of uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders. She utilizes the latest laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the robotic daVinci® Surgical System. She has achieved accreditation from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as a Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (SOERS) at Saint John’s Hospital, a Center of Excellence.
Dr. Flynn has been named as a “Top Doctor Rising Star” by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, and “Top Doctor” and “Best Doctors for Women” by Minnesota Monthly Magazine multiple times. She has served on a number of professional committees, including chair of the OB/GYN clinic council at M Health Fairview, Saint John’s and Woodwinds hospitals through the pandemic.
When she is not at work, Dr. Flynn and her husband enjoy the hectic but comedic home life of three children and a playful dog. She gets excited about relaxing up north, live concerts, and a good restaurant. She loves to travel and finds as much enjoyment in the planning as she does in the actual trip.
