Mackenzie Drimel, WHNP

Mackenzie Drimel was born and raised in Minnesota, growing up in the small-town North Branch. Mackenzie went to college at St. Bens, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During her time at St. Bens, she received a nursing internship at Fairview Lakes Hospital in labor and delivery where she then found her passion in Women’s Health. After graduating, Mackenzie moved to the Twin Cities where she worked for five years, as a nurse, in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum at Fairview Southdale Hospital.

While working at the hospital, Mackenzie decided to expand her practice and pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. Mackenzie graduated from Vanderbilt University with her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree. You may have seen Mackenzie around the clinic this past year as a student working along side Rebekah Roverud, PA-C. Upon passing her Certification exam this September, Mackenzie began working here, at OBGYN West, as our new Nurse Practitioner.

Outside of the clinic, Mackenzie resides in Golden Valley with her husband, Cody and her aussiedoodle, Rocky. In the summer, they love to spend their time on the North Shore camping/backpacking through the Superior hiking trail or exploring the national parks. She is always looking for new restaurants, breweries, and travel recommendations. We can’t wait for Mackenzie to begin her practice, at OBGYN West, and develop long lasting relationships with her patients!
