About Kale Knutson, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC
Care philosophy: I am dedicated to empowering women throughout the various stages of life by providing compassionate, holistic care that supports informed decision-making and promotes optimal health.
Special interests include contraception counseling, fertility, perimenopause/menopause, preconception counseling, and prenatal care. I love working with women throughout their various life stages to help them achieve optimal health and well-being.
My passion for women’s health began at an early age, sparked by a deep curiosity about the complexities and incredible capabilities of the female body. As I learned more, my admiration for women’s health grew, and I knew that this was the field to which I wanted to dedicate my career. I started my healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant in high school, where I was inspired by the nurses I worked with and found immense joy in patient care. Motivated by these experiences, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at North Dakota State University, with a dream of one day becoming a nurse practitioner.
Throughout my Nurse Practitioner program, I developed an even stronger love for the profession as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. My goal is to empower women of all ages, from adolescents to those in post-menopause, by partnering with them in their healthcare decisions. I strive to build strong, trusting relationships where people feel heard, valued, and supported. Every woman deserves to be fully informed and confident in their healthcare choices, and I am dedicated to being a resource for that empowerment.
I am originally from a small town in central Minnesota, where I lived until I moved to Fargo, North Dakota, to pursue my nursing degree. During this time, I met my fiancé, and together, we decided to explore a new part of the country. We spent three years in Northern Virginia, where we traveled the East Coast, met lifelong friends, and made unforgettable memories. We recently returned to the Minneapolis area and are excited for this next chapter of our lives as we prepare for our wedding later this year.
In my free time, I love spending time with my fiancé, family, and friends. I enjoy traveling, staying active, and embracing outdoor activities, particularly during the beautiful Minnesota summers at the lake.
