Perimenopause Class: Coming Again This Fall
Perimenopause is a natural life transition leading up to the end of your period. While it can bring many positive changes to your life, it can be also a time of challenge. Many people experience symptoms that range from night sweats and hot flashes to problems sleeping and anxiety.
This 3-part workshop, led by Krista Bernhoft Margolis, a women’s health and functional medicine/holistic nurse practitioner, will offer insight into positive steps you can take to improve your journey through this time of change.
In a safe, nurturing environment with other like-minded women, you will:
- Learn about western medicine approaches that can include hormone therapies, bone density screenings, and heart health recommendations
- Discover how such complementary therapies as meditation, acupuncture, herbs, and stress reduction can support you
- Explore the roles of nutrition and sleep
When: Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 9
Cost: $100
Time: 6-8 pm
Location: Southdale OBGYN, Edina, 3625 W. 65th Street, #100

New OB Classes
Congratulations on your new pregnancy! We look forward to caring for you during this special time in your life and hope to make your prenatal visits as meaningful as possible. You will begin your regular prenatal visits at eight to twelve weeks of pregnancy. However, changes will begin to happen and questions will arise as soon as you become pregnant.
We offer a free 1-hour Early Pregnancy Class that we encourage all of our newly expectant parents to take prior to their first prenatal appointment with us. We also recommend that our patients attend this class even if this is not your first pregnancy in order to be up-to-date on new information and office protocols. These classes are taught by our Certified Nurse Midwives.
