Southdale ObGyn is seeking an Ultrasound Technician. This position is primarily housed in our Edina location, but may work in Burnsville from time to time. Duties include capturing and interpreting images, identifying and monitoring obstetric and gynecologic patients using ultrasound equipment. The technician in conjunction with our physicians also assists in the interpretation of ultrasound images to diagnose and monitor the development, health of the fetus, and imaging of the fetal heart. The technician will perform ultrasounds to detect any abnormalities or disease. The successful candidate will be able to ensure high quality and complete images and will be able to produce accurate well-documented reports. The ability to work in a healthcare team and meet a high standard of patient care are important. Requirements include a degree from an accredited college or university with a ultrasound technician degree or associate degree in sonography. Must be credential with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The ideal candidate will have 5+ year of experience working in ObGyn and must be adept at using ultrasound equipment. The ability to work independently, provide compassionate patient care, and work in a healthcare team are required.

Pay: $44.00 – $47.00 per hour
