MetroPartners Obstetrics & Gynecology P.A. is comprised of practitioners who have extensive backgrounds in the care of women of all ages and are committed to providing compassionate, competent care at all times with respect for our patient’s health care concerns and individuality.
We are looking for a Full -Time Triage Nurse
Position Summary
Responsible for the handling of patient questions and problems concerning pregnancy and/or other gynecological problems. Triage Nurse must be compassionate, patient, supportive and always working in the best interest of our patients.
Essential Functions
Facilitate the triage process by providing assistance via telephone or EMR portal.
Review medication requests and contact pharmacy if requests meet our guidelines, or refer to provider. Prior authorizations as needed
Provide education and resources to patients as needed
Schedule same day and next day appointments as needed
Assist in the development and implementation of protocols
Review labs and diagnostic procedures as assigned. Communicate results to patients per protocol.
Assist with in-office procedures as needed
Maintain patient and company confidentiality
Support goals and philosophy of the organization
Excellent attendance and punctuality, organizational and prioritization skills are a must!
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Minnesota state registration and certification as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum 3-5 years nursing experience preferred, working in a professional setting as a RN. Triage experience required. OBGYN clinic experience preferred.
Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Work requires sitting for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to react and perform in stressful situations.

- Hourly Pay Range: $35.00 – $45.00 dependent on experience
